Tensions are high at the Maseno University after an arsonist set the Finance Block and the Dean of Students offices on fire. The arsonists have still not yet been identified nor captured. However, the prevailing speculations seem to indicate that the act is linked to the upcoming student body leadership elections. The election tension at the institution of learning is said to be ethinc instigated, and seems to be mirroring the national politics that plays out along ethnic lines.
Police boots are said to be on the pattrol at the Campus and learning at the institution is currently said to be paralyzed. The following are some pictures now being shared on social media:
